The Campaign
To create a set of high quality photography for Trend Designs, a London interior design company. With no outright marketing campaign, we set out to capture this interior designed home as a case study to be used as a demonstration for work.
The Photoshoot
This London architectural photoshoot took place over two days. We had two projects nearby that we alternated in photographing, depending on the weather and sun direction to capture the homes in their best light.
Photographing a London Bedroom
I really enjoyed photographing this London development. Being an interior photographer in London provides an opportunity to always learn from designers, architects and even constructors across the built environment industry. Learning how this bedroom was created with it's layers of textures had an influence on photographs, with the lighting style and composition chosen to compliment the design.

Photographing a Spare Bedroom in London
The soft furnishing textures mix nicely on the bed, but what stands out most is the dark accent frames and legs. They give this London development spare bedroom some much needed contrast to tie the colouring together. Being an interior London photographer can occasionally involve photographing small but well designed spaces like this one.

Photographing a Living Room in London
Newly built London developments are often in this open plan setting, with the kitchen, dining room and lounge merging into one social space. My approach to photographing London spaces like these are to isolate each individual areas, while hinting that other spaces are alongside it. In the images below, we can see the dining table peaking into the corner of the frame. It gives a smaller room a greater sense space, while alluding to the wider layout of the room.

Photographing Smaller Details in London
Below are two miscellaneous photographs that don't quite fit together. The first is a photograph of the hallway in this small London development. In a narrow corridor made from light colours, the darker furnishings add a contrasting focal point. The second is a set of details in a bathroom photograph. The layers and levels of the selves make for a really strong design.
